Sequrity Settings in Windows XP, Service pack 2.
When installing Service Pack 2 on Windows XP some sequrity settings are automaticly warning the users of running different types of media in the browser because they may be a sequrity risk.
The following actions does not create a sequrity risk while running the SUPERCOMET application.
Follow the instructions and start the application again.
Allow active conent to run in your browser
As default Service Pack 2 for Windows XP does not allow you to run active content in your browser. To allow this, follow the instructions:
- In your browser choose 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options' from the menuline
- Choose the Advanced tab (take a look at the screendump below)
- Check the box 'Allow active content to run in files on My Computer' (look at screendump).

Deactivate the pop-up blocker
A pop-up blocker is automaticly activated when installing Service Pack 2 for Windows XP. Follow the instructions to turn it off:
- In your browser choose 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options' from the menuline
- Look at the screendump below and choose the marked areas (Privacy)
- 'Block pop-ups' should be unchecked.
- Close the windows by clicking 'OK'.
